TAIKAN JAPAN is a series of Lecture videos and Workshops created to introduce, unfold many Japanese cultures in an easy-to-understand manner, from traditional crafts to mass culture, featuring Vietnamese professionals and clubs.
The second cultural theme of #taikanjapan is KENDAMA. Our guest for this episode is Kendama Vietnam Club, represented by Mr. Đặng Ngọc Khoa (leader).

Kendama is a Japanese wooden toy. Since introduced to Japan in around 1777, Kendama has been widely played in Japan and worldwide. It can be played anywhere and by anyone, regardless of age or gender. This game is believed to improve concentration and patience.

Mr. Đặng Ngọc Khoa has around 10 years of experience in Kendama and has achieved 3-dan level (as of the end of 2022). He founded Kendama Vietnam Club in September 2022 with the goal of bringing the joy of Kendama to all over Vietnam, connecting Vietnam Kendama to the world.
